Keith: "Is everything okay? You really sound depress--"

Annie: "Everything's fine. I'm just tired."

Keith: "Oh. Okay."

Tired and stressed and trying to push you away without telling you.

But I don't really want to push you away. I just feel like that's what I have to do right now.

Yeah, that's it.

That must be it.

Funny how a few months ago I didn't want to leave, but now I'm inching my way to the door.

I'd rather have a graceful exit than an emotional one.

I'm so tired of crying.
