good things

my mood

Hootchie papa shorts.

That's hot. :P

Gram apparently did okay in surgery this morning, since I've been volunteered for family-related things. I get to spend a night at the Cleveland Clinic with Gramps and I'll probably babysit a little cousin. See? I knew there was a reason why I still haven't bothered to look for a job.

Also, Ded was hired by a grocery store. The pay sucks, but it's a steady salary which is way better than nothing. Plus they are supposed to actually pay for transit and food. Isn't that exciting?

Me, on the other hand... I'm still wrestling money from Uncle Sam. He finally sent my tax refund (which meant that my taxes were okay after all, yay), but he still owes me drill pay. And heaven forbid if anyone Army-related bothers to answer their phone or return calls. Oh no....we mustn't let underling Specialists get what they need! They need more motivation to get promoted. *sigh* Do I need to be a sargeant to get stuff done?

I've been reading Asterix in French and giggling to myself. It's childish, but in a good way. Better than reading my assigned French work, that's for sure.

This language stuff is tough, but I think I like it.

Tchau!
