if you're going to move out and fuck up your life, at least do it the right way

my mood

Apparently my estranged brother got himself in trouble. The bank and a collection agency have been calling the house, being rather insistant on talking to him. Funny, he hasn't lived here for a year.

The collection agency said something about a bounced check. That they needed to speak with him within 24 hours or they would take drastic action.

The boy moved out a year ago and never changed his phone number, never changed his address... Oh yes, let's be responsible and move out but be lazy about everything and never bother to let the world know that he moved out.

Mom tried to contact him using the numbers he once gave to us. They are both disconnected. We don't know his new address. We don't know anything.

Which wouldn't be a big deal if he had, you know, actually changed his address a long time ago.

And if he doesn't get his ass in gear, not only is he going to be dealing with the aftermath of yet another bounced check, but the mess of not filing one's taxes.

Fucking idiot.

If you're going to move out and fuck up your life, at least do it the right way. Don't be apathetic and lazy about it.

(And no, I did not mean to write an entire entry about all of this shit.)

At mais,
